Nothing is impossible

Heavenly Father,

Thank You that nothing is impossible with You.

When my heart feels heavy and the way ahead looks closed, remind me that You are still the God of the impossible.

I place every need, every worry, and every quiet longing into Your hands.

Strengthen my trust.

Soften my fears.

Let Your power work where my strength ends.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Trust the Eternal God Who Cannot Fail

Heavenly Father,

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with You, and the Word was God.

Thank You that Jesus has always been—eternal, present with You, and fully God.

Help me rest in this truth today. Let Your living Word steady my heart, guide my steps, and draw me closer to You.

I trust in the One who was, and is, and always will be.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

If We Could See Beyond Today

If We Could See Beyond Today (also known as Beyond Today)

Words: Jerome McCauley 1909 (sometimes listed as anonymous)

Text is in the public domain.

Music is commonly by Norman J. Clayton 1943

Tune itself remains under copyright.

1

If we could see beyond today

As God can see,

If all the clouds should roll away,

The shadows flee,

O’er present griefs we would not fret,

Each sorrow we would soon forget,

For many joys are waiting yet

For you and me.

2

If we could know beyond today

As God doth know,

Why dearest treasures pass away

And tears must flow,

And why the darkness leads to light,

Why dreary days will soon grow bright;

Some day life’s wrong will be made right,

Faith tells us so.

3

If we could see, if we could know,

We often say,

But God in love a veil doth throw

Across our way;

We cannot see what lies before,

And so we cling to Him the more:

He leads us till this life is o’er,

Trust and obey.

Wherever You Lead, I Follow

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the steadfast love shown in Ruth’s words:

“Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God.”

Lord, give me that same loyal heart.

Wherever You lead, I will go.

Wherever You place me, I will stay.

Let Your people be my people, and You alone be my God.

Keep me faithful in every step, clinging to You with quiet trust.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Nothing Wasted in His Hands

 Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the precious promise in Your Word that all things work together for good to them that love You, to them who are the called according to Your purpose.

I rest in this truth today. Even when I cannot see the full picture, I trust that You are weaving every circumstance—every joy, every trial, every delay—into something good for those who belong to You.

Help me love You more deeply and walk in the calling You have placed on my life. Strengthen my faith to believe that nothing is wasted in Your hands.

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen.

A Parent’s Prayer of Trust

Heavenly Father,

You have spoken these words of wisdom:

“Train up a child in the way he should go:

And when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

I come before You today with this promise held close to my heart.

Thank You for the sacred trust of the children You have placed in my life.

Give me grace, patience, and courage to train them faithfully in Your ways—

to point them toward truth, kindness, integrity, and a deep love for You.

Help me model the path more than I merely speak it.

When I grow weary, strengthen me.

When I fail, forgive me and restore me.

Fill our home with Your presence so that the way of the Lord becomes the natural path their feet learn to walk.

I trust Your Word, Lord.

I believe that what is planted in their young hearts by Your Spirit will take deep root.

Even when the years stretch long and the world pulls hard,

hold them fast to the truth they have known.

Let them never depart from it.

I place them fully in Your hands—

their futures, their choices, their walk with You.

May they grow old still walking in the way You have shown them,

and may my own life continue to encourage them in that path.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

The Promise That Silences Fear

Heavenly Father,

You have said, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

Lord, I come before You today resting in this promise. Thank You that Your thoughts toward me are not random or harsh, but intentional—filled with peace and hope. You see the end from the beginning, and You are working all things for a good and expected end in my life.

When uncertainty rises, when plans feel delayed, or when fear tries to take root, remind me that Your plans for me are good. Help me trust that You are not thinking of harm but of peace. Settle my heart in the knowledge that You hold my future securely.

Guide my steps according to Your wisdom. Align my desires with Your will. Give me patience as Your purposes unfold, and fill me with quiet confidence that the end You have prepared is better than anything I could design for myself.

I surrender my worries, my timelines, and my expectations to You. Let Your peace guard my heart and mind. May I walk forward each day knowing I am held by a God who thinks thoughts of peace toward me.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

You Carry What I Cannot

 Lord,

I cast my burden upon You.

Whatever is weighing on me today—worries, fears, responsibilities, hurts, or the things I cannot carry alone—I lay them at Your feet.

Sustain me. Hold me up. Give me the strength I need for this moment and the ones still ahead.

Keep me steady. Do not let me be moved from the place of trust and righteousness You have set me in.

I rest in the promise that You will never abandon the one who leans on You.

Thank You that I do not have to carry this alone.

Amen.

You Are My Provider

Heavenly Father,

Thank You that Your Word promises:

“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

Lord, I come to You today trusting that promise. You see every need in my life—spiritual, emotional, physical, and practical. I confess that I sometimes worry or try to figure things out on my own. Forgive me for that.

I believe You are my Provider. Not according to what I deserve or what this world can offer, but according to Your endless riches in glory through Christ Jesus. You lack nothing, and in Him You have already given me everything I truly need.

So I ask You now: supply every need in my life. Meet the ones I see clearly and the ones I don’t yet understand. Fill what is empty, strengthen what is weak, and provide what is lacking—exactly as You know is best.

I rest in Your faithfulness. You have never failed, and You will not start with me. I trust You, Father.

In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

I'll Trust In Him by Ira Stanphill

I'd just like to post the lyrics to a favorite song that has meant a lot to me. I pray it will be a blessing to you.

I’ll Trust In Him
Words and Music by Ira Stanphill

Verse 1
Sometimes there’s heartache, sometimes there’s burden
Sometimes there’s sorrow, too hard to bear.
But in the stillness I hear Him whisper,
Just talk it over with me in prayer.
For there’s a balm in Gilead for your sorrow
And there’s an oil of gladness in His hand
And until midnight turns to brightest morrow
I’ll trust in Him tho’ I don’t understand.

Verse 2
Tho’ discontented, tho’ disappointed
Tho’ sad bereavement, may cloud my day,
I’ll still be faithful to Him forever
And keep on walking the narrow way.
He bore the cross and walked the path before me
They pierced His side and nails were in His hand
And until death or rapture I’ll be faithful
And trust in Him tho’ I don’t understand.

Verse 3
Content with Jesus, content He leads us,
Content to follow my Lord each day,
And seeking treasures beyond tomorrow
Denying pleasures for just today.
Tho’ trials make the journey rough and rugged
And teardrops fall this side of Beulah land.
I’ll bear the cross to wear a crown of glory
And trust in Him tho’ I don’t understand.
