Help me watch over my heart daily, that nothing impure, bitter, anxious, or self-centered would take hold.

Let my heart be a wellspring of life that honors You: filled with Your truth, shaped by Your love, and directed by Your Spirit.

When my heart grows heavy or wanders, draw me back.

When it is tempted to harden or grow cold, soften it again.

Teach me to treasure Your Word within it, so that every word I speak, every choice I make, and every path I take may spring from a heart kept for You.

I surrender my heart to You today. 

Keep it, purify it, and use it for Your glory.
