Wherever You Lead, I Follow

 

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the steadfast love shown in Ruth’s words:

“Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God.”

Lord, give me that same loyal heart.

Wherever You lead, I will go.

Wherever You place me, I will stay.

Let Your people be my people, and You alone be my God.

Keep me faithful in every step, clinging to You with quiet trust.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

The Owner of it all holds my life with perfect care

 Heavenly Father,

The earth is the LORD’s, and the fulness thereof;

the world, and they that dwell therein.

Thank You that every breath I take, every place I stand, and every person I meet belongs first to You.

Nothing I hold is truly mine—You are the Owner of it all.

Help me live today with open hands and a quiet heart,

trusting that the One who owns the whole earth also holds my life with perfect care.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Not Forgotten: Labor of Love for His Name Alone

 Heavenly Father,

Thank You that You are not unrighteous to forget my work and labour of love shown toward Your name. You see every quiet act of service, every time I have ministered to the saints and still do.

Please strengthen my hands and keep my heart pure as I continue to serve in Your name. Let my labour be done in love, not for recognition, but for You alone.

I rest in the assurance that nothing done for You is ever forgotten.

Rejoicing Only in the Pure and True

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for teaching me what true love looks like. Help me never to take joy in wrongdoing or in the failures of others, but to rejoice only in what is true and pure.

Guard my heart from delighting in sin, and fill me with a gladness that celebrates Your truth in every situation.

You Are Still Giving

Heavenly Father,

Blessed be Your name.

You are the Lord who daily loads me with benefits.

Even when I do not see them all, You are still giving.

Even when my strength feels small, You are still the God of my salvation.

Thank You for every quiet mercy that meets me this day—

for breath in my lungs,

for the roof over my head,

for the grace that holds me steady.

I receive what You are loading upon me now.

I rest in the goodness You have already prepared.

Keep my heart soft to notice Your hand,

and keep my mouth ready to bless You in return.

You are my salvation, yesterday, today, and forever.

Selah.

Nothing Wasted in His Hands

 Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the precious promise in Your Word that all things work together for good to them that love You, to them who are the called according to Your purpose.

I rest in this truth today. Even when I cannot see the full picture, I trust that You are weaving every circumstance—every joy, every trial, every delay—into something good for those who belong to You.

Help me love You more deeply and walk in the calling You have placed on my life. Strengthen my faith to believe that nothing is wasted in Your hands.

Living Bread for Hungry Hearts

 Lord Jesus,

You are the Bread of Life.

I come to You today hungry in heart and thirsty in spirit.

Fill every empty place in me.

Satisfy the longings that nothing else can reach.

Let me rest in the truth that when I come to You, I shall never hunger,

and when I believe on You, I shall never thirst.

Feed me with Your presence.

Quench every dry place with Your living water.

Keep me close, kept, and content in You alone.

Thank You that You are enough.
